Brian Kwong, VP Delivery and Ops at Better Partners, talks about how to have better implementations. In fact, he hates the word implementation because it implies a one-and-done, when Orgs are constantly changing. Better Partners wants to partner with customers for the long term, to ensure their success.

One of Salesforce biggest strengths is that you can do anything on the platform. One of it’s biggest weaknesses is that you can do anything on the platform. Admins shouldn’t become the person who simply implements everything anybody wants. It’s their job to be the Org steward, and figure out what the best solution is for each challenge. They should ask 4 questions: Who’s going to consume the information? Who’s going to be responsible for initial data entry? Who’s responsible for updating the information? Who is this going to benefit?
