A fresh look: The enhanced interface in Elements.cloud

We’ve always been committed to providing a seamless, intuitive experience for our users. With our latest UI refresh, we’ve taken a major step forward in enhancing readability, organization, and consistency across the Elements.cloud platform – without disrupting the workflows you rely on.

Better readability & accessibility

Your feedback made it clear: readability matters. We’ve improved contrast, increased font sizes, and ensured compliance with WCAG guidelines to make sure our interface is easier to navigate and read. Whether you’re reviewing metadata, working on diagrams, or analyzing dependencies, your content will now stand out more clearly than ever before.

A more intuitive layout

New users often found the right panels overwhelming due to the many icons scattered throughout the interface. We’ve streamlined the experience with a new tab-based structure, replacing ambiguous icons with clearly labeled sections. Sub-tabs now ensure features are easier to find, reducing the learning curve and making navigation more intuitive.

Easier access to settings and features

A lot of features and settings in Elements were hidden in context menus or required users to set them up in their space’s settings. It was difficult for users to discover or understand how to configure certain features without education. We have now exposed more settings and signposts to settings pages within the UI, making it easier to use some of the more advanced capabilities

Consistency across the platform

We’ve aligned the UI experience across the main application, metadata dictionaries, and diagramming tool. This means that no matter where you are in Elements.cloud, interactions remain predictable, and workflows feel seamless. Whether you’re working in the metadata viewer or the diagram editor, you’ll notice a cohesive and unified experience.

Introducing Dark Mode

One of the most requested features is finally here – Dark Mode! Whether you prefer working in a lower-light environment or simply want a more comfortable viewing experience, you can now switch to Dark Mode with ease. This new option reduces eye strain and makes extended work sessions more enjoyable.

This UI refresh isn’t about changing how you work – it’s about making Elements.cloud work better for you. We’ve kept everything you love while refining the overall experience to ensure it’s more accessible, more intuitive, and more consistent.
