Junior Marketing Assistant - San Francisco, US

Role Description

The Junior Marketing Assistant will assist the Head of Operations in developing a data-driven marketing machine to drive qualified leads into Customer Success.

This will involve drafting marketing materials, updating the company website, organizing and attending events, updating marketing documents and Salesforce data, and doing a range of tasks to assist in the running of the business.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Running marketing campaigns using MailChimp to drive customers to webinars and live workshops
  • Planning and organizing logistics for corporate events around the world
  • Supporting the marketing and customer success teams at corporate events
  • Qualifying new customers in Salesforce and helping to develop new approaches for this as the company grows
  • Updating Salesforce data in our Org
  • Updating WordPress website and developing content
  • Office management tasks such as mail, supplies and equipment

Skill Specification

This role would be ideal for a graduate caliber individual who is highly inquisitive, independent, technology-literate and has a passion for B2B Marketing.  There are no specific technical requirements, but the individual would need to quickly develop core skills in Elements.cloud, Salesforce, Mailchimp and WordPress. The specific skills required are:

  • Graduate caliber in any discipline, but ideally marketing related
  • Good business writing skills
  • Good day-to-day computer skills with demonstrable experience with standard office applications
  • An appreciation of business and business processes

Person Specification

The ideal candidate would have the following characteristics:

  • Inquisitive
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to structure complex ideas
  • Strong desire to learn and develop technical, business and writing skills
  • Flexible and able to respond to workload and demand changes

Business Excellence Manager - Petersfield, UK

Role Description

The Business Excellence Manager is responsible to the COO for the smooth operation of the process of the business and the supporting business IT systems.

The role is responsible for identifying issues, pain points and opportunities for Elements.cloud to operate better; to manage the portfolio of change projects; ensure that the the way the business should operate is documented using Elements and that the business IT systems are fit for purpose and support the business operation. The role is also responsible for managing the compliance regimes that are in place at any point in time.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Working with all areas of the business to capture issues, pain points and opportunities for improvement
  • Supporting the COO in prioritizing the change projects required to implement the identified improvements
  • Managing and delivering change projects
  • Using the Elements.cloud application to capture the way the business should operate identifying the requirements on the business systems
  • Being responsible for the day-to-day running of the business system landscape and helping the COO to ensure that the right business systems are in place and being used to their full potential. Effectively, the role will be the senior Salesforce Admin 
  • Rolling out any business change and ensuring that the business has adopted the change, and is operating the new process effectively
  • Ensuring that the ISO 27001 compliance is maintained
  • Executing specific functional roles in the business, as required to understand and improve processes before handing over to other staff

Skill Specification

This role would be ideal for a graduate calibre individual who is highly inquisitive, has an interest in unpicking complexity and is able to communicate complex ideas in both written and verbal formats.  There are no specific technical requirements but the individual would need to quickly develop the core skills required of a business analyst and Salesforce Admin.  The specific skills required are:

  • Graduate calibre in any discipline
  • Strong day-to-day computer skills with demonstrable experience in standard office products
  • A passion for improving business processes
