My name is Kelly Leslie. I work for Privia Health. We are an organization that provides tools and technology and talent for providers that have small offices. My role within the organization is I’m the Product Owner of our multi-cloud tools platforms that we provide to our customers. Major pain points: documentation as we have none;  just overall lack of understanding of what was built in the platform because it was a very mature platform.

Elements is kind of like a one stop shop for me as the product owner. I’m able to leverage the processes so I can diagram out with stakeholders right there on the fly. I can also troubleshoot right in the fly. What’s really cool is the side panel inside Salesforce that if I have a question from a stakeholder – Hhow is this field leveraged? I can actually find the field on the back end and see the side panel that talks specifically about how that field is being leveraged, which helps me and the stakeholders be informed of, do we want to make this change? What’s the impact? Before we go and have our development team do the work.

One of the things that our team struggled with when I first came on with no documentation, we would have to have a research ticket done by the development where they were spending probably between 20 to 30 hours of trying to figure out one field and how it was leveraged. And that spent so much of their time and energy taking it away from actually doing the cool stuff. So, with Elements.cloud, we were able to cut that down. Like I could quickly get that information right then and there to our stakeholders to help make a decision.

From my perspective, as a product owner, I’m doing business mapping right within there. I’m also putting requirements in there. And then our development team is actually drilling down into the business process, adding those automations or the impact of those automations and what they’re tied to on the back end.

Everyone should have Elements if they have a Salesforce instance as it brings transparency. It brings process and it ties the process into the technology that’s built. It paints a picture for those people that are visual like myself as a Product Owner. It’s really important for our companies to consider having that transparency of quickly identifying high risk, low risk of a field of making a minor change, maybe it’s a big change.

I personally feel like every Salesforce org should have Elements.cloud, as it makes life easier.

The development where they were spending probably between 20 to 30 hours of trying to figure out one field and how it was leveraged. So, with Elements.cloud, we were able to cut that down. I could quickly get that information right then and there to our stakeholders to help make a decision.
